Save November 20th in your diary, that’s when a Living Story production makes it onto ABC2 as part of the Second Chance series at around 9:20pm.

The Great Purple Spotted Rescue is a short documentary about a passionate group of children from Alberton Primary School and a very small rare fish.

The film tells the story of their quest to save the fish from extinction.

The Great Purple Spotted Rescue has enjoyed film festival success with a screening at the Topanga Film Festival in California and the Short Sharp Film Festival in Coffs Harbour, NSW, where we won Runner Up for Best Film!

In October, the film will be screened in New York at the Wildlife Conservation Film Festival.

It was funded by a small grant from Screen Australia administered by the Media Resource Centre with everyone who worked on the film donating their time.
